Xerte 3.15 released
We’re pleased to announce that the newest version of Xerte, version 3.15, is now available for download. This version includes the functionality to add AI assistance to the authoring experience.
AI Assistance
Designed to streamline the process of content creation there are now options to:
- Receive smart content suggestions to generate text, summaries, and activities based on a topic or set of learning objectives.
- Receive media assistance to generate meaningful images to enrich content.
- Create blank templates which can generate the required structure for a page leaving the content development solely to the author.
These AI tools don’t replace educators, but instead enhance their creativity and efficiency, freeing up time for pedagogy and learner engagement.
The AI functionality in this release will be optional and Xerte administrators will need to decide which AI model(s) they would like to use, and how much they can budget for authors to spend. For organisations using Xerte, the administrator can also choose who can have access to the AI features, providing the ability to maintain control over the functionality and costs.
