Save the date!
The Xerte project is very pleased to announce that we are running another free online Xerte conference which will take place on Thursday 21st November 2024 with an exciting mix of sessions throughout the day. This is likely to be 9.30am – 4pm UK with 30 minute sessions, the full details of which are to be confirmed at a later date. The conference and sessions will be via Microsoft Teams and full registration details will be sent out in due course, but for now please save the date and register your interest to ensure you will be notified when registration opens.
What sessions will be available?...
We are busy finalising the next release of Xerte and there will be sessions covering the most important new features in this 3.13 release. We also hope to share examples of the potential impact and affordances provided by AI on Xerte development and usage and we also hope to seek your feedback on a Xerte workspace redesign project that will hopefully be well underway by the time of the conference.
More importantly we are also liaising directly with you, the worldwide Xerte community about delivering particular sessions, so if you or one of your colleagues (or even learners!) are interested in delivering a session we have a session submission form for you to complete – see below.
Next steps if you are interested…
Want to receive conference updates direct to your inbox?
If you would like to receive a small number of updates between now and the conference, including conference registration and programme details once available, then please register your interest via this form.
Interested in delivering a session?
If you’re interested in delivering an approx. 25 min session please let us know by Friday 18th October at the latest via the presenter submission form. We will get back to you ASAP after the 18th, if not sooner.
Whatever topic you would like to present about, we have some underpinning questions to consider:
- How are you using Xerte?
- Why are you using Xerte?
- What are the benefits for you and your learners?
- Do you have evidence of impact and/or feedback from your learners?
- Has AI and/or changes with other tools impacted your use of Xerte and if so how?
