For many, the academic year winds down and summer holidays approach, and many educational technology developers find themselves with a rare commodity: time. Whether you're a seasoned Xerte veteran or relatively new to creating interactive learning objects, the summer months can present an ideal opportunity to enhance your skills and prepare for the year ahead.
As Xerte users from the Netherlands and Flanders, we know how to find each other. Knowledge and experience are exchanged throughout the year via Xerte Talks, the Xerte-forum, Xerte GitHub, the Xerte key-users group and the Xerte dialoog. And once a year we try to get together at a mini conference, where existing and new or curious users are very welcome.

Kenniscentrum Digisprong, together with the Flemish and Dutch Xerte community, will host the Xerte Mini Conference on 25 June 2025 at the Hendrik Conscience Building in Brussels.

The third 'Escape Rooms in Education Showcase 2025', hosted by Professors Clare Thomson, Heriott Watt University and Briyana Morrell, University of Indianapolis, USA on 15th/16th May, and was the biggest one yet, with attendees from 15 countries around the world.
