Note: If your installation of Xerte uses Single Sign On (SSO) you can't make changes here, and you will just be able to view the user accounts.
If no users have yet been added to your installation, this form will appear empty. If not the entry for first user (by surname A-Z) will be shown.
To add a new user, replace the information in the text entry boxes with information about your new user. You will have to allocate a password for the new user, and you should note this down (for example in a secure Excel file), as it will not be displayed in the user record here after creating the user. When you have entered all the information click on Create User. Users can change their password, if they wish, through a link in the Workspace.
To edit the personal information for a user, find their record by using the drop-down at the top of the page, edit the record and then click on Modify user. Note that a username cannot be modified (to do this you would have to delete the whole record and create a new one, so you should avoid making such a change after the user has created projects)
To remove a user's account, find their record by using the drop-down at the top of the page, click on Delete. If they have projects you want to keep you can transfer ownership of these projects through the Users projects tab.
