This Documentation page feature, at the Nested Page level, adds a one-line text entry box into which the learner can type a response.

(In contrast, New Text Area adds a multiple-line text entry box, which can be expanded by the learner).

There are 3 examples of Text Boxes on Nested Page 1 of this demo. If you complete all the Nested Pages, you can then download the content as a Word document to assess how it displays.

Core properties

Language Option

Further information

By using the Placeholder Text optional property, you can create a task similar to the Modify Exercise page type in Interactivity, for example for an error correction task. There is no built-in feedback, but this could be provided in another way, for example in an answer key on the next Nested Page.
