The Image Search and Help Tool is a general assistant available on any page which is capable of displaying an image in some form. It can also be accessed by clicking the magic-wand icon on any media field which supports image uploads within the editor.

In the Query field, enter the text you want to use for either:
Which one is used depends on the selected service.
By default, the query is sent to the selected service exactly as entered, without AI modification.

The goal is to make the query better match that service's search or generation behaviour, which may help you get more relevant results faster.
This option instructs AI to automatically infer certain search parameters based on your selected service, such as:

The Image Search and Help Tool can also be used without AI.
To do this:
This allows you to perform a manual search without AI involvement. If your administrator has enabled the Image Search and Help Tool but has not enabled any AI settings, vendors or other functionalities, you will only see the options which do not use AI by default.
Tip: Check the messages at the bottom of the AI section to confirm whether AI is currently being used.
After the search or generation is complete, a selection window will appear.
