====== Tracking/xAPI > Results Page ====== A [[pagetypes|page]] that displays, to the learner, feedback on their performance in the Xerte Learning Object (LO). This information includes; * **General Results**: the average score (on scorable pages), completion (opening pages), start time, duration (time spent with the Xerte LO open) * **Global Interactivity Results**: scores on individual, scorable pages, duration on each page, weighting for that page, completion of each page * **Specific Interactivity Results**: learner response and correct answer for each individual interaction (e.g. each individual gap in a gap fill) The results can be downloaded by the learner, as a PDF. The labels (the text used to describe the different types of feedback) can be edited, as can the tooltips and some optional instructions. ===== Example demo ===== {{url>https://xot.xerte.org.uk/xapi_launch.php?template_id=116&group=xertepagetypes#resultspage 98%, 650px noborder}} or view at [[https://xot.xerte.org.uk/xapi_launch.php?template_id=116&group=xertepagetypes#resultspage|Xerte Page Types - Tracking/xAPI: Results Page]] (opens in new tab) ===== Editor interface ===== {{ :xerte-tracking-resultspage-editor.jpg }} ==== Results Page: Core Properties ==== ^ Property ^ Description ^ Type ^ Additional information ^ | Page Title | Text that appears in the header of the published page. | Text | | | Results mode | Options for the level of detail in the results available to learners. {Minimal Results/Normal Results/**Full**} | Drop-down | **Minimal Results **presents just the **General Results** (i.e. no information on performance on individual pages). **Normal Results** presents **Global Results** plus **Global Interactivity Results** (scores and time spent on individual pages, but no feedback on learner response and correct answers for specific items). **Full Results** presents General Results, Interactivity Results, Global Results and Specific Results. | ==== Results Page: Optional Properties ==== ^ Property ^ Description ^ Type ^ Additional information ^ | Ask user name | This asks the learner for their names, to be placed on the Results Page. | Text | This may be useful if you want learners to upload Results Pages to a portfolio as evidence of engagement and performance. This property creates a pop up, when Download PDF button is clicked, for the learner to type in their name. This is then added to the PDF. | | Disable export to PDF | Removes the **Download PDF File **button. | Tick box | | | Full Completion | Calculates completion based on all pages in the LO. | Tick box | | | Page Text | Adds text or other content. This is displayed at the top of the page. | Text+ (Toolbar) | | | Show pages with 0 tracking weight | Shows results of completed pages with a 0-tracking weight. | Tick box | | ==== Results Page: Language Options ==== There are a lot of Language Options, but you may not have to change any of the defaults. The text of the following default text labels can be edited/changed. | **Default Label** | **Explanation** | **Default Label** | **Explanation** | | **General Results** | Overview results for the project, not for specific pages. | **Your answer** | In Specific Results, the header for the column showing learner responses. | | **Average** | The average grade over scorable pages which have been tracked. | **Correct answer** | In Specific Results, the header for the column showing the correct answer. | | **Completion** | The heading in the General Results section to display the percentage of the project that has been completed. | **Download PDF File** | The text on the download button. | | **Start Time** | For the whole LO. | **Correct tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'correct' icon. | | **Duration** | This label is used twice; time spent on the whole LO, and time spent on each page. | **Incorrect tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'incorrect' icon. | | **Interactivity Results** | The title that displays above the **Global Results **and the **Specific Results **(see below). | **Complete tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'completed' icon. | | **Global Results** | The score, duration, weighting and completion status of __each page__. You can include or exclude pages weighted 0 (e.g. non-scorable pages). | **Incomplete tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'incompleted' icon. | | **Name** | This is the heading used in the first column in the Global Results table (i.e. the name of each page in your LO). | **Not applicable tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'not applicable' icon. This is typically shown when a page has been tagged 'completion not required'. | | **Score** | The percentage score on a specific page. | **Details available tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'details' blue icon. This shows that information on the learner's response and the correct answer is available in the Specific Results area of the page. | | **Weighting** | The weighting of the page, as it contributes to the Average. | **Details not available tooltip** | Text that appears when hovering over the 'details' blue icon, when Specific Results are not available (i.e. when **Normal Results **have been selected). | | **Completed** | Indicates if a page has been opened. | **User name dialog title** | The title used for the pop-up box where learners can enter their name. | | **Details** | In the Global Results table, this indicates for each page whether Specific Results are available. | **User name prompt** | The text used as instruction to learner when entering their name. | | **Specific Results** | The learner response and correct answer on each scorable item. For example, if there are 10 gaps on a Gap Fill page, results are given for each gap. | **Ok button** | The text used on the button in the username pop-up box. | ==== Further Information ==== For certain page types (e.g. Gap Fill) the data on the Results Page is not very usable as a means of analysing why responses are correct or incorrect. This is because most of the context round the responses is absent. For learners, a more effective way of analysing their own responses might be to screenshot the feedback on specific pages. Screenshots can be pasted into Word documents, either for uses in independent study, or as the basis for a reflective task. {{tag>pagetype tracking/xAPI}}
