+**New in 3.14**, users can now be listed as 'active' or 'inactive'.  Setting user accounts to inactive simply hides those users from the list of users when sharing projects etc. but does not prevent them logging in if they still have an authorised account, whether the account is externally or manually authenticated.
+Administrators can manually record accounts as 'inactive' or a can use the setting to force 'inactive' based on last login, e.g. if you add the date of, 1 January 2023, all users who have not logged in since that date will automatically be set to inactive. **Note: As soon as the user logs in again, their account will become active again.**
