Issue: Scaled scores don't tally up correctly.
XOt version: v.3.4
Export option: "Get SCORM 1.2 package"
SCORM deployed to: Blackboard Learn VLE
Grade SCORM Points Possible: 100
Tracking Score Weight (optional property): enabled and set to 1.0 for each of the questions.

Background:
We have developed a series of nine weekly quizzes consisting of ten questions (most mcq) from the interactivity page templates that are compatible with SCORM tracking.

Whilst checking the logs for some students I noticed some of the scaled scores aren't tallying up to what I would expect. I attach an example.

Questions
Q. If the total points possible is 100 and there are ten questions, are the points evenly distributed across those ten questions, regardless of the interactivity page template that can be tracked? e.g. 9 questions are mcq, 1 question is a category question.

Q. For multiple answer questions or category questions, if a user gets some correct answers, I don't see any mechanism for awarding partial scoring,is that correct?

Thanks in advance for any insight
Alison

Still no further forward to understanding why the scaled score from a Xerte SCORM package which has a total points possible of 100 for 10 questions can produce a scaled score of 53%. I've tested match and MCQ (multiple answers) questions to see if partially correct answers are scored, which they aren't.

I'm trying to ensure Xerte interactivity (when scored) is a robust (will stand up to moderation) alternative to our VLE quiz functionality.

Thanking you in advance for any insight.

The example below shows that the user got 5 correct answers which should give a score of 50/100.

Hi Alison,

I do understand, and we as developers have the same goal. Would you mind sending me the scorm package so that I can have a further look?

No, can't say that I have. Can you just try to send a short message first?
