I see an option on title page for the learning object for the import of a stylesheet . I assume this allows one to customise layout / colours etc. I cannot find any help information about these . Have I understood the functionality ? And are there any examples / templates available ?

Thanks

Paul

We now this needs better documentation.

The best advise I can give you at the moment is to use the devlopment tools of the browser to see the different eemenst at play (F12 in Chrome for eaxmple) and/or take a look at
modules/xerte/parent_templates/Nottingham/common_html5/css/themeStyles.css

There are some caveats with useing taht file as a template though, you can't use it as is, because than the images used for the navigation buttons cannot be located.

Hi,
I appreciate that this is an old thread, but I've been playing around with these today, and I can see that when you upload a stylesheet, the buttons (images) all disappear. I can see that Tom mentioned it specifically in his post above.

Is there a reason for them to disappear, or is there a way of linking to them again?

Thanks

Helen

Yes when you upload a new stylesheet containing relative links to the buttons the stylesheet is then in your project folder so those relative links no longer work. You could upload the relevant images to your projects media folder but it depends on what you are trying to achieve. The new version has a series of optional themes you can choose from when authoring so it might be worth waiting until you upgrade.
