Hi All,

At the Xerte Conference Fay gave us a very useful overview of using Variables, but I have a few questions and attach screenshots as to my attempt to create Variables with Multiple Choice question page type.

I have set up the Xerte LO by adding the 'Variables' Optional Property to the LO Title page. But I am not doing this correctly. Please can you take a look at the screenshots and tell me where I am going wrong. Many thanks. Anne

Hi Anne

I think the only problem you have is that in the variables table you have set 'a' to be between 1 and 100 but you have also used the fixed value field to say it should be 13. If you want to use the min/max fields to calculate a different number each time then you need to leave the fixed value field blank.

Thanks
Fay
