Hi,
I just added an SSL cert to our Xerte and Chrome is giving me a warning "This site is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources"
None of my projects are visible and I can't create new projects.
I can agree to load scripts and everything works as normal however only as http (rather than https).
My reason for adding the SSL Cert was so that I could embed Xerte content into our LMS (Moodle) which also has an SSL Cert. Anybody have any ideas how to deliver xerte over https?
Thanks,
Karl
UPDATE:
If I manually add the s (as in https) the embed code works fine on our LMS however it reverts to the standard Xerte toolkits theme rather than the Flat white one which it was published in.

Did you change the configuration of your Xerte install so that the siteurl is https rather than http?

You can do that via the management page but if you've already changed the server you might need to do it via the database and sitedetails table.

Bottom line if you try to view embedded as http in a https page it won't show or will display that warning and if your xerte install was http and not you've changed the server to https you need to change the siteurl value to reflect that change too.

Hi Ron,
Really appreciate the quick answer on this, thanks you. What you say makes total sense. I'll do that right away, hopefully changing in the management will do the trick. Changing via the database and sitedetails table sound like something outside my comfort zone :)
Cheers, I'll post here if it works.
